If you take time during these strange period to observe wildlife, you can see that there is plenty of action occurring. A hedge was cut back after a nesting bird survey for works and while no nests were found, a pair of Robins took full advantage by picking up all the dropped caterpillars that were feeding on the hedge plants. This gave a lovely picture of a Robin with a full beak of caterpillars for its young.
