Caterpillars galore

If you take time during these strange period to observe wildlife, you can see that there is plenty of action occurring. A hedge was cut back after a nesting bird survey for works and while no nests were found, a pair of Robins took full advantage by picking up all the dropped caterpillars that were feeding on the hedge plants. This gave a lovely picture of a Robin with a full beak of caterpillars for its young.

If you need a nesting bird survey or any other survey such as Preliminary Ecological Appraisal for a land survey, then give me a call on 07807 655237 or email me on kevin@kjecology.co.uk
